it great to see bruddahs and sistahs of Luzon * Vizaya * Mindanao islands wearing their cultural pride and identity on their skins. the art of tattooing is a beautiful and ancient art that goes back thousands of years to ancient Egypt, Mesopotomia, and Tribal Villages. they are breathing Hieroglyphs that tells a story from the past, present and future. most importantly, they are sacred symbols of a forgotten language that goes beyond the commercial enterprises, trendy fashionistas, and wanna be wanksters, etc.. i'm dedicating this blog and the sacred art of Tattoos to you, the bearer of truth and illumination, who have given life and light to the aesthetic geometry of body painting.

when iyah had my first tattoo in 1990, my friend and scribe, Sanford, branded a symbol of the "Ka" the I and on top is the eye of Horus crowned by the sanskrit symbol of the Indus trinity Siva*Visnu*Brahma in the center of my heart chakra, a ritual to bring forth the creative energy and the power of shakti to uplift the cultural relativity of ancient scribin to the urban guerrella art form of tattooin. this blog is dedicated to those who loves and tattoos and their meaning, may we continue to colour and inspire the world with mystic ink.
